Understanding Support Systems after Disability and Illness

Headway held its Annual Meeting and Presentation on Thursday, November 5, 2015 

This event was held at the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County on Delaware Avenue.

Dr. Lisa Keenan, Chief Licensed Clinical Health Psychologist from the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at ECMC, 

offered an informative educational presentation: Understanding Support Systems after Disability and Illness.

Dr. Keenan utilized a PowerPoint presentation and distributed a useful handout to accompany her discussion.

Many common experiences of TBI survivors and their families were discussed and the need for additional supports was addressed.
